I hope Xbox saves a japanese dev or two like SEGA or Capcom or FROM. Ubisoft has had financial issues and faced buy-outs for years and years now too, but desu I kinda feel like Assassin's Creed and Far Cry have peaked, and it wouldn't be a huge loss to lose them when their best games are still available now.
Take-Two and/or Rockstar would top all of them in terms of impact and relevance to normies. Buying Rockstar at least would be in Microsoft's interest as far as selling consoles and not just Game Pass, because Rockstar always makes console exclusives first. So the next Rockstar game would probably be Xbox's first true exclusive

It's also funny that some of you think buying Bethesda is going to save them. Bethesda hasn't made a good game since Skyrim, the rest of their games can't even hit metacritic scores of 80. Let's not also forget they let Bethesda put the Horse Amour DLC on the 360 marketplace back in 2007. If they hadn't done that, microtranstations and other bullshit greedy DLC practices wouldn't even be a thing today.

Going with Bungie. It's the only one left that makes sense. Destiny 2 would be a win for them and they'd be able to share Bungie's technology again to get 343 back on track. Bungie can stay semi-independent. That or they're buying WB games division.
All these purchases are going to be terrible for the consumer in the end. Having a big corporation umbrella over these studios always leads to major staff cuts and suffering in the end. It didn't work out for Bioware.
