Meme, masterpiece, or a bit of both?

For an "indie" game it was really impressive back then, but not it does seem a bit overrated.

Probably linearity and the fact that it's pretty easy if you don't use the Gods/Goddesses "blessings" to up the difficulty. Though some turn some fights into obnoxious wars of attrition.

I loved it. We can argue about whether or not it qualifies as a masterpiece but I thought it was fun and the setting and style were great.

I've yet to play Pyre or Hades, I can't tell what the fuck kind of game Pyre is from the screenshots, is it good that it's better than Transistor because Transistor was pretty fun.

If been delaying playing this game for fucking ages. Pirated it twice but lost it before ever beggining to play.
