I agree. Although that’s probably exactly why they’re doing MGS1 because it’s been done already and they just need to make the graphics prettier. Unless it was some kind of retro style remake then Metal Gear 1 & 2 in 3D would essentially be MGS6, no one at Konami or would be hired by Konami is brave enough to put in the work to develop that kind of project.
It’s the same reason why even Kojima’s team turned down the Boss Normandy game without his help in favor of a slashy Raiden spinoff and they couldn’t even handle that without outsourcing to Platinum games.

That's fucking awesome, the first MGS is the only one I passed, I tried two but I got confused and stuck on the boat, although that might just be me being a retard, and I tried five which I really liked up until the world opened up and I realized every single npc on the map was my enemy so I dropped it, think I might like three ever since I played a demo but I'll see.
