It's like a fight club and they use real blades, guns, or whatever weapon on each other.
Like hey Mario, and Steve beats the shit out of him with a pickaxe to his head.
Like what the fuck lol and then they even invite kids or dogs and pummel them as well.
Like Joker comes and shoots Lucas in the fucking head with a fake gun that shouldn't even hurt the other characters.

The weird thing is we know from several trailers that the invitations aren't actually intended for a particular person and anyone is free to steal one and use it to enter. I've personally always seen getting into Smash as something similar to the Hunter Exam, with Sakurai as Netero. Ridley and K. Rool were like Hisoka and Gittarackur.
