who here is a mobile chad who only phoneposts

Reminder that GaaS games are here to stay.

a phone is a PC though

It makes sense though, everybody has a smartphone so obviously games on there are going to have a bigger target audience than ones you need a PC or console for.

How the fucking do we compete against mobilechads, PCbros/Consolebros

I didn't know consoles were so dead already

To me this is a good thing. If the mainstream appeal shifts to mobile then perhaps traditional console and PC games will be made for the enthusiasts again

Based, mobile gaming is the future. Can't wait for GTAIV Anniversary Mobile Edition later next year

Things will only get worse, I know.
I'm prepared for the future.

Lol, no. What happens is PC/Console devs start cramming mobile mechanics into all games. We can already see this.

If it makes you fell better, I'm buying games that had its source code released that I'll never play because of that particular action.

>mobile mechanics
wtf is a mobile mechanic?

*feel

Zoomers all play on their phones. They even play shit like fps with touch screen. I really don't know how they even have fun on that garbage, it's worse than using analog sticks.

PC moreso, according to this chart

>data is a prediction from 2018
why even post this if it's already wrong, and why are people posting in this thread

regardless of it being possibly outdated, there's no reason to think the mobile market didn't get bigger from 2018 up til now

until a few countries start to put laws against whaling, and then it dies in half a year.
protip : in Europe sooner than you'd think

Europe is a minuscule market compared to America, China and Japan. Beside, GaaS games are not limited to mobile. Every live service game is a GaaS game.

europe is big enough of a market not to ignore and can force legislation, see energy efficiency ratings

europe won't do shit against GaaS taking off in the lowIQ shithole of asia

friendly reminder iOS bros won

>Xcom 2 for mobile
No fucking way

best thing its by feral interactive, who are a really competent port studio, and its the full game including expansions for a single purchase

I'd rather they fix the PC port first.

Don't need to, let the greedy soulless companies go for mobile while niche games and the like remain on PC made by the passionate devs

The fate of the mobile market was sealed early. Freemium is the only way to participate. Nobody can just make and sell a game with an upfront price and no gimmicks even if they wanted to.

Give it 10 years or so. Mobile gaming will inevitably get console tier releases when the technology is there

Is there a demographic with lower standards than gamers?

There is hope if the game is a port of a PC game. It worked for Little Inferno, Broken Sword and Machinarium.

You were saying?

I don't care, cellphones are getting very powerfull.

The thing is that premium games on smartphones are very rare.

take the mobile pill

>the nose knows ridge
>approaching shekel summet

I really miss the Humble Mobile Bundles and PC and Android bundles, especially the later. DRM-free, and with (PC, Mac, Linux and) Android support.
