What is your GOTD (Game of the Decade) for 2010-2020?

Mine? Skyrim, hands down.

Prob dark souls, lame I know

Prey 2017
Ori and the Will of the Wisps slots nicely into second place I think

dark souls 1 comes to mind too. A huge castle and town to explore with Diablo like atmosphere.

Dark Souls

I had a big dumb smile on my face the entire time I played DMC5. Even playing V.
It's rare that I finish a game and immediately go into the newgame+ but I played through DH, SoS and DMD in order. Rocked from beginning to end.

bloodborne
special shoutouts to botw and mgs5 too

For me it’s the world and replay ability, everything about that game was to my taste. Bloodborne is another contender, but I prefer having better world design then level design.

For the previous decade, mgs2 is prob my pick.

DS1

BotW

Skyrims gameplay is awful, how can you hate games so much that's your gotd

RDR2

If we're only counting games as-shipped, Dark Souls

If we're allowed to count mod potential, either XCOM EW or WOTC with their respective long war mod packs.

>Prey 2017
fucking based and typhoon pilled

Bloodborne

I'd still have to give it to Dark Souls for filtering a generation of Gears of War / Uncharted cucks who couldn't handle a game they actually had to play instead of watch

Fallout: New Vegas

Shit. I really can’t think of one. Not because it’s all crap, but because no game has been perfect for me. Monster hunter world maybe?

No need to insult gears 1-3

Good picks in this thread.
I would also have to say Dark Souls.

Hitman Blood Money

Gun to my head DXHR but I have like 15 other games that could come very close

Picross 3D Round 2

probably either TLOU or Bloodborne or REmake 2

Terraria
Darwinia
Microsoft Jigsaw

DRAGON'S DOGMA

Personal? Dark Souls
If i'd have to put a general in the most importance? Minecraft

Easily gow 4 what are you guys taking about ooof.

Undertale

Super Mario Odyssey was the only game to make me feel the same sense of fun and excitement I felt when playing through 64 and Galaxy for the first time. So, I'd probably hand it to Odyssey for successfully making me feel like a kid again for a little bit

Agree

Yeah, same.
