the original kept throwing u into new locations/events at a very fast pace, with the exception of a singular moment after midgar.

this remake brings it to a screeching halt, and drags everything on, w/o doing interesting stuff most of the time.

I do like the bone of the combat though. it just doesnt get used to the best of its ability.
