There's no consistency. The character design feels like something out of a surreal fever dream.
>some vampires are ghostly pale
>other vampires from the same clan have human skin tones
>others from the same clan are corpse-like
>etc. etc. etc.
The opening cutscene is the best example of this. If they created a clear physical appearance for each clan it would be alright, but only the Nosferatu appearance is justified.
Why was the art style so bad?

>there shouldn't be any variety from person to person

they are all pale, even the more "human" like ones like VV. What are you smoking?
Also if you played with the plus patch some NPC models got added or swapped in cutscenes.
If they were consistently pale human tones it would be fine. But it's not. Some are exceedingly inhuman looking, while others couldn't be distinguished from humans at all.
>exceedingly inhuman
Almost like a... monster?
>others couldn't be distinguished from humans at all.
Almost like it's easier for them to blend in?
Not everyone is created equal.

I have yet to come across a game that does this so well, so quickly

Why does Sheriff looks so different from this frilled cunt?
Your genetics?
I've always wanted to try this but I can't seem to find any combat gameplay
I'm guessing it's pretty bad like pretty much every other similar rpgs of its time, right?
Not baiting or anything, I just want to know how it's like, feel free to gatekeep me if I sound like a newfag.
Vicissitude lets them turn themselves into whatever form they want by molding bone, flesh and muscle like putty.
Don't Tzimisce fleshcraft their own bodies? They wouldn't have a set appearance because they can make themselves into whatever they like.
Do all Tremeres make albinos look tanned?
The story and setting makes up for it
Just get the plus patch, get the fire axe and just enjoy
Pretty sure Tzismice are a clan of body modificators, so no two should ever really be alike, they are all unique tumblr snowflakes in their own grotesque right. Damn shame not even the second game will allow us to play them, the sheer potential of body horror these guys have in their lore is unmatched by other media.
Combat can be pretty clunky.
>second game
Please don't remind me after what they did to Mitsoda.
Also if you want to play a Tzimisce, try this mod.

There isn't really anything to say about the topic other than "yes. and?"
