Damn, he's not wrong.

damn... really makes you think...

>No one tries to cure it
???

Cancer isn't a disease, that's implying you can catch cancer. Cancer isn't a virus, you can't "catch" it, it has to develop.

The vast majority of “cancer research charities” literally pocket the money and then say, “Well, it’s a complicated illness. You can’t expect us to find a cure overnight!” Hence why donating to scams like Games Done Quick is a bad idea.

kinda unrelated but not really
i saw a couple of tlou2 reviews on youtube of people who didnt like the game and im so fucking glad people are starting to realize the strengths of the media and what makes a VIDEOGAME and what is a MOVIE or CINEMATIC shit with filler in between

this conversation is relevant than never

One of the last based people on youtube left. He said bioshock was worse for not saying Nigga and he was right

>Cancer isn't a disease
retard

He said bioshock was worse for not saying nigger you double nigger

This fucking board

Name of his channel?

Cancer is a disease but not an infection, same way a civil war is still a war without an invader

>implying I don't like cinematic games

This guy has bought every single major AAA cinematic release in the last 10 years, on what high ground can he say this?

dude you're retarded, independent of scam charities "cancer research" is still one of the best funded areas of clinical research

No, the scam is that these charities are just publicists that make "raise awareness". And cures are being worked on...

lurk more

The first and last Strand type game, because it fucking sucked ass

he's bought them mostly to critique them and prevent other people from buying or liking them. it's a counterintuitive measure.

Are you trying to tell me it's not a complicated illness? There's dozens of different types of cancer out there and you expect them to make a one and done cure for all of them? Fucking brainlets I swear.

I'm one of the small amount of people who really enjoyed Noby Noby Boy and I still felt like his comparison with Death Stranding was pretty disingenuous for the sake of own. In general he seemed to get hung up on small concepts not being integrated the way he would have preferred when the online elements in particular are clearly going for abstraction to embody the game's themes over building a direct community (further emphasized by the "like" system which is pretty clearly a criticism of the entire concept). Surprisingly weak review from him honestly, kinda felt like a temper tantrum he has with the way Kojima marketed the game.

There's a cure for cancer, but there's mountains of bureaucratic red tape to go through thanks to Big Pharma's constant monopoly. You can check out the University of Ireland if you don't believe me.

Just FYI, donating to private research groups means jack shit, only big companies have the resources necessary for production and distribution, which means even if a cure for a disease is found from a small group of crowdfunded researches, the only way to get it out into the public is through those official channels.

Wow look, E-celebs!

Pretty sure lots of people are trying to cure or better treat cancer though?

You literally can't cure cancer on a cellular level.
Luddite analogy.

How do you get so mad at an interet game reviewer that you spam an anime imageboard with threads attributing fake quotes to them?

Aids would be a better disease to pick no one cares about aids anymore you just get laughed at for having it.

Did he not like it? Haven't watched video yet.

He does address this idea in the video, even if it is to ultimately say that even if that were the point it wouldn't make up for what it lacks.

>and prevent other people from buying or liking them
He strongly recommends you to play it yourself before watching the review

Matt and Mecha are so far ahead of their competition on youtube that it feels like a statistical anomaly that they're from the same city

Yeah it's fine to address it, but I don't really think it's something that can be just handwaved away to be treated like a problem is all, the intent seems very clear to me.

>yet no one tries to cure it
Did this retard seriously say that?

>despite being an allegory for how we interact with eachother in the digital age, Death Stranding shys away from the reality of social media because none of the characters calls anyone a nigger

jesus christ give it a rest matthew

false my coworker love uncharted

>HURR WHY DON'T YOU CURE HEART ATTACKS?
same exact analogy as Cancer, you can't "cure" cancer

your coworker is a fucking retard.

No you gullible fuckwit

he didnt say this in the video
