I had to drop Baba is You halfway through because I got hard filtered on every available puzzle I hadn't already finished at that point and I refused to look up a guide since I mean it's a puzzle game, if you're looking up a guide you may as well just watch a lets play of it and save yourself the trouble.

still a cool game though. actually I think the same thing happened with mario picross when that came out on NSO a month-ish ago but at least that time it was near the end and I'd already gotten 30 hours out of it anyway

Basically any grand strategy game. I really like the idea of playing them, but as soon as I get actually down to playing them i ignore half the systems and then drop the game as soon as shit falls apart as a result of that.

I suck dick at stealth gameplay. Had to drop the only Metal Gear game I tried out because all the characters were talking up Snake as this super awesome shitkicking motherfucker, but my gameplay just made him look like a flailing jackass, so I felt like I was letting the game down.

i think the problem with baba is you that it opens up way too quickly allowing you to burn through all the easy puzzles at the beginning of every world without actually gaining deep understanding how the mechanics introduced there work. You really have to force yourself to finish 90%+ of every world before moving on even if that means being stuck on a puzzle for some time. Otherwise you just end up with tons of open ends that are all way above your actual skill in the game using mechanics you don't truly understand.

I legitimately don't remember how I solved the piano puzzle in Silent Hill. I was stuck on it for ages when I replayed it earlier this year until I finally gave up and started playing modded Fallout 4 instead.

I managed to get all the puzzles in Talos Principle except the last two. I finally broke down after dozens of hours and used a guide. Still feel like an idiot to this day.

MGS games are more patience than anything else. Sometimes you have to observe the room for a good few minutes before making your way through. I got hard filtered by MGS1 my first time around because I kept rushing it but once I slowed down I was able to make my way through most of it just fine.
