what's with the obsession with a shopping cart? how often do you buy multiple games at once anyway?
What's with the obsession with a shopping cart? how often do you buy multiple games at once anyway?
the point is it's a basic fucking feature, and epic is like a billion dollar company why can't they add it?
what for?
maybe it's way more cost-saving for them to handle every transaction one at a time, book-keeping wise or something. If that saved cost gets at least partially transfered to the consumer then I'm all for it.
who cares fuck tencent
extremely often
whenever theres a sale I'll spend like 60$ and buy 4 or 5 games
More importantly fuck the devs who destroy communities for the sake of more money.
>Psyonix sells out to Epic games
>Rocket league removed from steam store
>Steam users who paid for the game before it went F2P are now forced to make an epic games account to play the game they bought on STEAM
not sure if autism or ccp poster
Epic Games Launcher has a tendency to decline transactions after a few purchases. Most cards do too, although they have the courtesy of asking whether it was you rather than giving you a cooldown period.
>what's with the obsession with a shopping cart?
it's the most basic of features that can be expected of a storefront, to point out that Epic has no VR support, no Controller remapping support, no remote couch co-op, no instant streaming, no inter-user trading support, or any of the other features that Steam has would be considered unfair. So the BASE feature that every digital store is expected to have became the rallying point.
If you're understanding it as only interest in the shopping cart itself, then you're missing the point.
>how often do you buy multiple games at once anyway?
Always, since I only buy games during sales, I can't think of any game that was so good and necessary that I bought it full price alone, instead of in a sale
>that pic
kek steamshill has no self-awareness
>Buy game
>Buy DLC for game at the same time
>Or buy copies for your friends
It's not complicated
because i dont like running through checkout 7 times when steam drops a sale
this
if epic games wasn't owned by Tencent i'd be fine
Play your games instead of hoarding them you autist
People were getting locked out of being able to buy games on epic because there is no shopping cart
dude, when you buy UE4 marketplace assets, theres a shopping cart. EGS and UE4 use the same browser/launcher. timmy must be trolling.
I do you retard every game i own i throw 25-50 hours each game stupid fucking chink
I've never bought a game full price. I don't care about spoilers, story or gameplay-wise so I I've never had a problem with just waiting for a sale, Epic's marketing strategy of pretending they make games cheaper only works with a dumbass that only plays multiplayer shit so he's got to get it right now or in 6 months the community may not be there.
What? What people? How?
Steam has anime and weeb profiles
Epic has hmmm kuso free games or something
>how often do you buy multiple games at once anyway?
Literally always because I only buy games when they're on sale and I get a bunch all at once.
and this is how only 30% of buyers beat tutorials
>how often do you buy multiple games at once anyway?
Every fucking time
But I admit this is grasping for straws. The real reason is that I simply don't want to give money to the sick men of asia
Less often now. It used to happen rather frequently, but I buy fewer games in general now.
I guarantee you it’s not cost saving to handle 1 transaction at a time, in any universe or market
>typed this with his made in china keyboard
>it is cost saving for a grocery store to process a seperate transaction for 8 seperate pieces of fruit, even if they are the same fruit
Name one useful feature steam added in the last 5 years
They offer 2 free games. Have to get each one separately. Fucking stupid.
To be fair its more like a shell account, there's no email or name associated with it
how often do you buy multiple games at once anyway?
Sales?
>double click on the shortcut from the game I want to play
>close the launcher when I'm done playing
I don't understand why it's so hard for steamies to play games from other launchers
fuck china
online multiplayer for games that don't support online play
I don't have an epic games account and I can play Rocket League just fine.
I would consider a simple shopping cart to be a requirement for all online stores. Every time there's a steam sale I buy more than one thing. Epic is missing so much basic shit like that and forums. It's hilarious when people buy a game on epic than use the steam forums to ask a questions about it and shit
>plateform
can't stay away from food references can you?
Everytime. Epic gives two games away for free everytime and since there's no cart you have to get them separately.
So this the PC master race.
>Shopping cart too costly for bilion dollar company.
Fuck, EPIC shills are using even more stupid arguments.
How fucking shopping cart is too costly for them?
Literally a single guy without any programming knowledge with few hundred bucks who wants start his own internet shop can just use something like prestashop to create his own internet shop, and guess what. His damn shop will have shopping cart.
So non programmer guy with few hundred bucks can have shop with shopping card while for bilion company earning heavy cash from fortnite, the same company that can hire best programmers a fucking shopping cart is out of their reach.
>Chink fingers typed this on an American keyboard
They do have a cart in EGS. But only for engine purchases for some reason. Though it doesnt make steam any less of a piece of shit. Whole religious steamfags permabutthurt is getting old now.
Steelseries is danish
Epic fags are too young to remember Origins attempt at becoming a store. They gave out games as well at the start.
Steamweenies are no better than applefags.
Stop fanatically defending corporations that don't care about you lmao.
This, doesn't even need to mention 4 more.
