Shadow of the Colossus is the most kino

Both OoT and Persona 2 are alright but reset button endings are lame.
SotC's ending never did anything to me. It was always more about the journey.
No comment on MGS2.

Mother 3 almost got close to perfection but kinda shat itself with the "lol actually everyone is fine!" reveal and slideshow

Ehh, the sequel didnt *necessarily* retcon it. The whole game was the story of Yuna and her regret at not saving Tidus, and trying to get him back by any means she could. It was really a touching love story, and the secret ending, i think, was less a retcon and more a "what if" scenario where she manages to finally see him again, like Mario when he finally rescues the princess at the end, but gender reversed.

I thought of it as a very interesting "what happened after the events of FFX" tale. Maybe not the story that everyone was asking for, but one that was satisfying nonetheless, and the song "A Thousand Words" fucking SLAPS.

Now, it was unfortunate that they took Rikku's "quirkiness" and dialed it up to 11. I sort of liked her character in FFX, but in X-2 I couldnt fucking stand the bitch.

None of these are bad per se but MGS3 definitely hit me the hardest.

MGS3; manages to be emotional, surprising, and brisk for an MGS finale. Fantastic music from the Presidents office all the way to the tombstone.
