What was the worst waste of money you ever spent on a video game?

50€ on Diablo 3
I will never forget the waste.

Did you get anything good? Just seems way too early to spend that much, it just launched and there's like 20 characters in the game total. I would have waited for someone truly great to come along. Well, I wouldn't spend money on the game personally anyway, but if I had to spend money I would have waited. Chances are these launch characters are going to get powercrept anyway.

This. Day 1, midnight, was so excited. Had a good first 2 days with it, then when I realized how bored I was at something like 11% done with the game, I wish I had waited

Battlefield 4 was the game that convinced me to never preorder again
I still cry because I bought Call of Duty Ghosts at full price at a point in time where I already disliked CoD but got it anyway because a friend of mine wanted to play with me.
I played both of those games for about 15 hours each.

Final Fantasy XV on launch day. No wait, FFXV in any shape or form, although I caught the worst of it.

I bought FFXV Royal Edition just to see how bad it was. I really liked the companions online mode quite a lot. They locked such an interesting concept in with such a garbage game. The single player story was absolutely garbage and one of the worst games I've ever played. It was just terrible in every way.

Bought the £70 special edition of The Force Unleashed 2. The game was 3 hours long.

Spent a ton on Simpsons Tapped Out. Maybe $70+. Awful decision in hindsight since it was on an old phone and I didnt even carry the save. Plus its super easily hackable.

I just got Type95 from opening those jade coffers you get for logging in, and I didn't pay a single cent. I got her for free. Doesn't really apply to this thread but I wanted to offset all the bad experiences with a good one. She has some of the biggest breasts I have ever seen in my life.

RE5 for $10. It's not the amount, it's the principle of the thing. God, I fucking hated RE5.
