Riot's card game is getting its second expansion today, 2 months after the first one.
Why aren't you playing the highest quality CCG on the market, with the most frequent updates and balance patches, the most f2p monetization and the best girls?

It's the best CCG if you don't want to spend money but I'm not into card games, I'm so bad at building decks
I know this is bait, but i actually am playing, pretty nice to have a ccg that i don't have to spend a penny on it
It's not bait though I haven't spent a penny and not only do I have all the cards I actually have enough resources saved up to build the entire new expansion cards on day one.
I mean the best way to get cards is the weekly vault and getting it to level 5 which gives you like 80% of the possible rewards takes 30 minutes of playing against the AI once a week. That's insane by Hearthstone standards.
Deckbuilding and playing are two different things, it's totally fine to just copy other people's decks.
This card game elitism that you should only ever play decks you made yourself is dumb.
Yeah, and Riot still getting money because of cosmetics so they don't care, every expansion they're in the top 10 in the cards section of playstore in grossing

What? This would be the third, we had rising tides and targon already
Rising Tides was not considered an expansion since it was technically the game's launch (it was open beta before that)
Meh, i played since beta so for me it kinda counts
I enjoyed the game during beta and pre-launch, but the spam of fiora builds killed the mood for me.
Is it better now? Is there more variety around?
Are you hyped for your Kpop cards in LoR?
is Lulu fun to play, lads? I've only really been using Elise and Kalista and they've been wrecking pretty much anything but I don't want to spend cards on things just before a new set. .
It's a good game but I have "grown out" of cgc's. I just don't find the time to spam random games vs faceless nobodies. Maybe I shuld ask my friends to have a mini-tournament.
Now Lee Sin is king although they just nerfed one of his support cards by 1 mana and will probably nerf him a little bit in two weeks.
There is a new card in today's expansion that should fuck him up real good too.
Also they nerfed a lifesteal card two weeks ago (Radiant Guardian) so burn found its way back into the meta.
It's pretty balanced overall though it's not like Lee Sin and Burn are the only viable decks.
I fear the day this will happen given how hard they're forcing KDA into leeg. I'm loving the lore and artwork of Runaterra cards.
I played mainly a shadow isles deck with those sharks and fuckers that die at the end of turn, but stopped playing because turns out those were broken af and everyone used them.
Are they okay now? As in, not too broken. I know they nerfed Ledros and some cards.
can I unlock cards at a decent pace if I only play against AI? I don't feel like playing pvp with a starting deck
I don't like Lulu that much, sometimes she's awkward to use.
The problem with support decks is that you need a board to make them work and against other players that's not always going to happen. I mean if you already have a board wide enough to benefit from multiple support cards, you're probably already winning anyway.
For me the most exciting new builds will be the self harm/healing archetype that becomes a thing as of today's new expansion, and Demacia/Targon Dragons which is getting a lot of new cards and even a champion. The champ is kind of meh but will obviously be included in the deck.
>I fear the day this will happen given how hard they're forcing KDA into leeg. I'm loving the lore and artwork of Runaterra cards.
Is this irony?
Yes you can.
PVP wins give a little more xp but it's not that much, playing against the AI is enough to get your weekly vault to a high enough number every week.
In fact just getting to level 5 (free champ) just needs you to do like 3 quests against the AI so you literally only have to play once a week.
No, it wasn't. I had no idea.
Is it just cosmeticsor actual playable cards?
Both.
Shadow Isles ephemerals isn't really a popular deck anymore
It's kinda fun but not consistent and has no blockers
Ephemerals are just about the biggest meme archetype. They're not even tier 2 viable, just complete memes.
Lulu was the only time I ever 7-0 an expedition along with the Zig Forums squirrel, so I thought it might be good in normal play. Kind of sad she isn't, I have no idea what to build that isn't just basically Red Deck Wins ft. Spiders.
Don't take my word for it I've seen streamers play Lulu into high ranks I just don't like her
Lulu is not good, stop wasting his time. No, she's not even on the verge of being good, she's just not viable. She was alright at release when decks were not refined, and before they nerfed Warchefs. You can't beat a single decent deck in the meta, not one. The best region of the meta is Bilgewater, you know, the spam 1 damage pings region. Guess what;s one of the best cards in a Lulu deck is? The 1/1 elusive witch. Lulu can't get a board to stick, and that's what the deck needs to function.
Oh hey is this the update that adds Tahm Kench? Might actually start playing again if it is.
>user is into VORE
Yeah this is the one tho I've no idea how to build around him
Probably Targon healing?
Would really suck if the self damage archetype ends up being Bilgewater/Targon and Noxus & Vlad continue being memes.
I'm just hoping the LOR team knows how to contain it. They've proved their worth multiple times and I hope they can do it again
Tahm just has a cool voice and by far one of the best themes in the entire game.
I was probably going to try some variations of Tahm and Vlad, not really sure how well that would work though.
Even reddit is going batshit. Riot forcing k/da down everyone's throat is just terrible. Nothing concrete has been announced yet so one can still hope.
Call of the Mountain is the third set and it gets an expansion today.
