amphetamines

Keep practicing, don't be ashamed if you don't immediately understand everything, overcoming stuff is what makes vidya truly fun.

Try actually having autism instead of just being self-diagnosed, sperglet.

Play online
Oh wait, online is dead outside of closed autistic circles due to pirates having mismatched game and mod versions

Factorio is the rick and morty of videogames. try city builders

Who would want to play Factorio with strangers?

Get creative, that's the most fun when starting out. It's pretty funny going back to old spaghetti factories hundreds of hours later. Try not to look up other's solutions or blueprints until later

Play Mindustry

then you're just a dumb sperg

how can you be too dumb? the game teaches you how to play.

The tutorial for train signals sucks and I was forced too google
>no tutorial for normal signals at all
Come one

it's pretty simple user, machines need X amount of Y per minute so you use whatever belt you need to bring that amount, this never changes from starter bases to mega bases
I recommend the max rate calculator mod, its a calculator that shows exactly how much a recipe needs per min or per sec so you can adjust as you want

The worst part is midgame. When your factory slowly turning into CHAOS instead of LAW.

has anyone attempted to beat the game with a giant sushi train?

I take it back
today is not your best day

yeah train is scuffed and fucking retarded to setup

Is this actually working for you user? Would be kind of impressed if you managed to go full Waagh make it work through sheer force of will.

The worst part about Factorio is that if you play well all you can do is tab out and do something else while your factory keeps running in the background.

How do you stop this from happening? Especially with biters turned on where it's better to just have a small factory.

If you're playing well you always have something's production to increase. Having to go afk because your factory is too slow is the opposite of playing well.

Build moar production

That has never happened to me, Factorio has always things requiring your attention.

Isn't there a game like this but simpler? Satisfactory or something.

>being content with what you have and AFK to get shit
>not expand outwards and build another mega base for that sweet sweet 1.2% increase in productivity
is post this as a meme ball but im at work

This shit looks so fucking dumb, but I really hope this works for you user. I remember being the completely opposite side of the spectrum and only putting one material on one conveyor. When I had to get 3 things into an assembler, I made some eldritch abomination of an inserter setup that took up 8 tiles.

>How do you stop this from happening?
I'm perfectionist. I can't stop thinking how to improve factory until absolute perfection, not only production but visual, aesthetics. And I love building trains, complex multiple bases connected by rails.

This is completely viable if you use circuits, but it would probably be hellish to try and use in practice

I played "blind" until the last or second to last science pack where I ended up having to use a calculator to get the ratios for what I needed and I looked up a couple basic assembler configurations

>tfw autism but not the savant intelligent type
>actual brainlet
>play rimworld and grand strategy on easiest difficulties
>have a blast
Will factorio suit me?

I don't mean it's impossible, I think it's a really interesting design, it's just insanely inefficient. However, you can easily implement anything, so it does have positives. It goes against the core idea of building an efficient factory, but it's not like it's wrong and I love seeing unique designs like this.
Plus, imagining an 8 lane sushi train that spans an insane amount of assemblers is so funny.

You can edit world settings before starting to make it easier

Factorio is pretty much a puzzle game and a OCD dopamine injector.
