Who was around during the peak 3DS days
Remember when the Smash Bros demo dropped through Club Nintendo?
Remember Swapnoting with another anons?
Remember Mario Kart 7 lobbies with Zig Forums?

I remember when the 3DS was such shit and originally sold for $250 and when it was tanking they dropped the price by $100 like 4 months later and gave everybody who bought one some “free” ROMS. I feel like nobody ever brings this up
I managed to get both Smash and ORAS demo codes from kind anons. Had a lot of fun those nights.

With no Gatornigger whatsoever. A beautiful time.
i was in a thread about it in monday. still have that blue launch 3DS, never got any of the revisions
I was around during the peak DS days and now I'm old and don't belong here
nothing about tr4sh was beautiful
i miss the mediocrity of the 3ds/wii u era. it truly peaked in 2015 and went downhill from there. the switch just takes itself too seriously.
3DS version was cool
>Wii U
>mediocre
the Wii U had better games than the switch which is why 3/4 of the library is made up of “HD” Wii U ports
Loved my Wii Ua the time, but nah. Nowhere near.
It's objectively better than Ultimate by virtue of not having stupid ass Gatorfuck in it
Wii U exclusives are objectively better than Switch exclusives
Definitely not.
member when smash 3ds leaked. good times
Absolutely yes. Compare Wooly World to Crafted World for instance. The latter is incredibly shit in every way

These were all wonderful times, lost like tears in the rain. It seemed like most of Zig Forums got a code, but the begging threads and making people do ridiculous shit were fun. I would try to think of ridiculously specific JAV and sent my codes to the first people to email me some links.
does switch even have exclusives? BoTW is not one. Splatoon 2 feels so similar to the OG it feels like an expansion pack. Smash bro’s is just another smash game. Switch has Odyssey and that’s it really and the shittiest Kirby and Yoshi game I’ve played to date
Haha people tripping over themselves to buy smash bros demo codes. I got a few steam keys out of that.
>ywn experience the adrenaline of getting the green streetpass LED to help fill that 3D puzzle or work towards a new hat again
The Switch isn't as sociable
This is literally the only exception.
What else did Wii U have? Star Fox Zero, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Devils Third?
Switch has Animal Crossing, Astral Chain, Ring Fit Adventure, Links Awakening, Hyrule Warriors Ago of Calamity, ARMS, etc.
Pikmin 3, Wooly World, Mario 3D World, WW and TP hd, Wonderful 101 (originally), the OG Hyrule Warriors, Fatal Frame, Star Fox Zero
Splatoon 2 felt like Splatoon 1.5 at launch, but by version 3.0 it truly felt like a sequel. Not the best way to do it, but the DLC was free aside from the Octo Expansion, which was worth the money.
Most of them are no longer exclusive, and are now the worst version on Wii U.
I remember drawing 3d ponyshit with color3d and the messaging system, God I hate the fucking switch you can't even talk with anyone in your friendlist, let alone send them cool drawings. What an useless piece of fucking GARBAGE FUUUUUUUUCK
I remember leaving my 3DS on all night to download the Smash 4 demo and playing it at school the next day. You could only play as 4 characters, there was only one stage and items were permanently enabled but man I played the fuck out of that demo
the 3ds was kino, just the perfect size for portability and good battery as long as you turn the 3d off. The switch is just the opposite of comfy: it's too big for a portable console, to weak for a home console, horrible drifting joycons and no tools to make the community feel alive like on 3ds, no miiverse and all.
thing is though, switch has far better and more games.
>the Wii U had better games than the switch which is why 3/4 of the library is made up of “HD” Wii U ports
Then why is 1/8 of the Switch library original?
Yeah, because the majority weren't retarded suckers who buy consoles at launch lmao.
That and you can also deal with any comfort issues with third party joycons
