Valve dont have the employees nor the inclination to maintain their games beyond the bare minimum. Most of their forums are moaning that their game is dying and that Valve are doing nothing.

Dota 2 was a huge cash cow for them with nearly 800k players. In a few years that has slipped down by half and its bleeding even more. The balance updates are getting slower and more retarded changes are being made. Its matchmaking is beyond fucked and has ruined any chance for newcomers to start playing. I have no clue how well its doing against League since Riot will never reveal their playercounts.
On the other hand, Underlords and Artifact flopped hard. Valve had no clue how to update and maintain those games. Underlords is literally on life support whereas some Valve devs are trying to scrap together Artifact into something playable.
CS:GO is the only game doing alright but its still plagued by huge issues with cheaters and balancing problems. Its still miles more alive than its competitors so thats something going for Valve.
All Valve will do is ride the gravy train of the steam store and the whales to finance their other projects like VR.

Bruh it would cost you 60 bucks at most to upgrade all skins to max why the falseflag.
