I love 3, I'm not a huge fan of the other ones

1 and WL VB play similar to Mario with powerups but with an enphisis on collecting coins and treasure hidden in each level. 2 and 3 make him immortal but have him either lose coins when hit or be inflicted with a status effect that usually interferes with his progress, though sometimes its the way to move forward. Shake It plays like 4, MoD is a game held back by an over reliance on touch screen controls, which sucks because the game has some good levels, music, and story to follow.
