I will probably never finish sekiro because I suck at it and I keep getting my ass handed to me and it is not fun anymore I hate it when that happens.

Use firecrackers
Don't go to hirata estate early
Upgrade the posture skills

It's supposed to be a gimmick boss and is just a glorified cutscene. It's cool as fuck and how a gimmick boss should be done. Compare it to bed of chaos or dragon god.

Thank you for the advice, I just need to get good.

The fight looks fucking epic and it feels good and fun. That's what matters.
It's a part where the game gives you a break, let's you chill for a bit and puts on a good show for you.

Also that soundtrack makes any male or female cum.

that fight is more about presentation and aesthetics, and its fucking amazing at it, the way the music changes when you are about to deliver the final blow is just pure fucking kino, get some taste fag.

>he thinks divine dragon is built up
Naw m8, everybody knew he'd be the "aesthetic" boss.

Divine Dragon is probably one of the worst bosses in Fromsoft history, more so because if they actually gave a shit about it and gave it a real fight instead of making it a cutscene it could've been kino
Instead no, press R1 for epic

The people who like sekiro enjoy the entire process leading up to them getting their ass handed to them. There isnt anyone who just breezes through the game.

Have you tried getting into the flow? Not the zone, the flow?

>press r1 for epic
>one of the worst bosses in fromsoft history
It was one of their shitty gimmick bosses, but they actually put effort into it. It might be the worst boss in sekiro but certainly not the worst boss from has made.

Yhorm
Ancient wyven
bed of chaos
ceaseless discharge.
Every single Ds2 boss (no counting the DLC's)

>climbs wall

Still a better gimmick boss than those in any other Fromsoft game

I dont know if this boss was intended to be difficult more of a feels boss than anything

I felt bad merkin im'

Storm King

Why does he feel like they just ported a dark souls boss into the game?
he doesn't play like any of the other bosses

Just make sure you're using the best tools for the job, stuff like the shield or firecrackers trivialize some bosses.

I mostly did besides owl (father), most harder bosses I did in 5-10 tries which MIGHT sound like a lot but with how fast sekiro is, it doesn't really take that long

parrying does nothing and using the umbrella like the shield is the best strat for one.

was it cheap of me to drop his ass off the cliff and kill him instantly?

I know a lot of people hate him, but personally I found him fun. I beat him in 3 tries in a fresh charmless run. There's a lot of safe spots near his real arm and parrying his slow wind-up attacks feels incredibly satisfying. If he ever makes distance from you, you can either run to him just in time or bait out his flame balls. The whistle pretty much trivializes his final phase. Beyond that, the fire gourds plus the shit ton of special ministry powder help protect from his burns. I love the personality he exudes whenever he flails his head around and stretches his arms out to his sides.

>wet noodle
While The Divine Dragon was a very easy boss, I seem to recall Owl being the only boss that hit harder. While it was easy to not get hit, he could two-shot you.

I think part of why the boss worked so well is that it IS so easy. There was a kinotastic vision they wanted to show, and it would have gotten stale if you would have died to him multiple times.
Also, FromSoft clearly likes doing "Zelda" bosses every now and then, but they're really hit and miss, this one was great.

If you figured it out yourself no, go nuts. If you learned it by watching a video online. Then yes you are a scrub

you can parry all his melee attacks though

in what way are ceaseless discharge or ancient wyvern built up to?

I've never died in Sekiro

At least it's mot the monkeys
