Nothing can save it. They failed to put out new maps and new modes quickly. Releasing skins doesn't work if the rest of the game lacks behind.

It's sad how much wasted potential this ended up being. These devs could have had FNaF or Undertale tier money, and they've squandered it all.

Yeah its fucking weird how lazy they are. Isnt it unity too? You see the apex legends and destiny 2 dev teams have an excuse for slow content updates, and they arent even slow, because the game engines they use requires complete rebuilding of levels even from small changes. There is no excuse that fall guys couldn't get a completely new level every week, minimum. I remember runescape would patch weekly and some weeks were fucking huge in terms of content. Greed lazy devs. No sympathy at all for them, hope it crashes and burns and this is coming from a guy who actually bought it on steam.

I played yesterday. Apparently they fixed speed and the randomnes of falling over if you jump. There's now a mode that doesn't have any team game.

Fall Guys had its chance. Season 2 was a pitiful amount of content that should've been out within the first couple weeks. They became the next big thing over two months ago but, have nothing to show for it except a few maps and making their community manager and Sonic into skins. There's absolutely nothing going on under the hood of this game that requires that much work to take that long. It's Unity, for fuck's sake. Paste a few pink mattress platforms leading to a goal, place some props to knock people around, and the map is done, ontot he next. They should've gone giga-crunch on pumping out fixes, changes, maps, modes, and a map editor, even if they were isolated in a beta playlist until they were polished enough to go live. Instead, they were posting memes on Twitter and sucking up to big streamers with 10 hours in the game who haven't touched it since the first Rivals.
