I think HDR is most games, like 90% of all Huge/360/Bone games
& nothing has FPS doubling yet. It has to have work done for individual game for it, like the One X patches for 4K 360 games
Its like 50 Huge games, 500 360 games, and 3000 Bone games, with more Huge and 360 to be added once SeX is out they went on hiatus to work on Bone-for-SeX, HDR, and framerate multiplication

Not 60 unless it was originally 60. Cant unprogram the framerate caps esp when it could cause games to go haywire. But all the Huge games were 4K

Since I have a PS4 I can't really justify getting a Series X and then paying to rent games via Game Pass that I already own .

They do some weird hacky shit to force 60fps without adjusting the cap. Thats what they did to Fallout 4, apparently without fucking up the physics of the gamebyro engine

I cant speak for fallout 4, but like gears games for example, unreal already supports uncapped framerates. They just have to turn off vsync and the games will run better. Works even on the 360 emulator on PC.

Also, Brute Force, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Dead or Alive 3, Jet Set Radio Future, Legacy of Kain: Both Blood Omen 2 and Defiance, Mechassault 1 and 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War, Soul Calibur 2, Spider-man 1 and 2, Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus, Unreal Championship. Those are a few I’d like to be able to play again without having to bring out old hardware. And yes, I know Wolfenstein is better on PC and UC is a console port of 2k3 but I still like the convenience of a console in the living room.
Fallout 4 runs at a capped 60 on PC, but you can upcap it and make the engine fucked up.

Which games were capped then because all my originals run at much higher frames even on base bone. Splinter Cell is another big improvement. I was under the impression every game got boosted frames.

You need to change the command line in settings even on PC if you want higher framerates.
Chaos Theory was dropping frames on Hueg and 360 emu, Double Agent 360 was running 15fps at points on OG hardware.
