Should I get the Quest 2 or Rift S for PCVR?

Should I get the Quest 2 or Rift S for PCVR?

>white finish
why do people still do this? White colored tech gets dirty after one second.

Quest 2

Nigger

Quest works tethered or wireless, so best of both worlds.

Quest 1 > Quest 2. Think of the Quest 2 as the google home mini - they made it cheap to put it in your home for a reason.

What about compression?

niggers aren't black, they're brown. Aka, the color of shit.

Not sure what you mean. I played Half Life Alyx on a Quest and PC, via Steam, with no problem.

Rift S

None. Invest in Augmented reality products instead. VR will never catch on because people want to see the world around them.

Are you a shill

But quest 2 has better hardware so how is it worse lol

A real shill

Normies think white tech is fancy looking for some reason. Thank apple

Does it? No OLED, worse FOV, worse ergonomics. It's a step down (at best a sidestep) and the lower price has pulled blinders over everyone's eyes.

Aside from the obvious issues when you put the headset on and compare it to the quest 1 - there is also the fact that the form factor will NEVER support that cpu in its current state. Sure it's a faster chip, but much like macbooks - it's throttled.

Doesn't matter. Games run better and the screen is much better and not a blurry shitty mess like the 1. I own a 1 and a 2 and the fov in 2 isn't even indistinguishable from the 1

How much should I pay for a used CV1?

Noob. Go watch reviews and comparison. Every single person directly notes how much better the new one looks.

It's not much better, the blacks look like shit, and you're just not seeing the FOV difference (which is good for you I suppose)

Save your money and get a quest 1, or better yet - ignore the quest and go for a VR platform that doesn't harvest everything it can about you.

Neither, oculus is shit.

Please don't buy a CV1 unless you already have another primary headset and are an enthusiast

Quest 1 isn't any cheaper. And legibility >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> reduced blacks

Why?
I've tried an Index, but I am not willing to pay the premium.

>tfw you're not American and can just fake a kikeberg account with a boomer name
Feels good man. I just put some bible as my avatar, set personal information and joined some groups. Now I can jack off much tranny VR porn much as I want on my new Oculus

Is there any headset better than the index? Better, not cheaper.

>noob
I don't need to watch reviews, I own both units. If you actually watch reviews done by people who paid for their own units you'll see my opinion is not an opinion.

Because it's INSANELY outdated. Hell, it was outdated halfway through the first gen.
Buying a CV1 would be like buying an iPhone 2 as your first smart phone in 2020.

>Awful resolution
>Awful field of view
>Awful refresh rate
>Requires expensive lighthouses that are a dead end and are never going to be used by Occulus again

You would be much better off buying a gen 1 WMR if you want to go cheap. Like I said, the Occulus 1 was a weak piece of hardware even for it's time.

No. You might find one or two with a higher resolution, but suffer in other departments to make up for it.

Index has the godlike specs, the best controllers on the market, and on top of all of that has a really clear upgrade path when future hardware releases.

As a CV1 user I can vouch for this. Really looking to upgrade at some point.

Nd then you'll get banned. Lose access to everything. And won't be able to get it back because even in the EU you need to provide official documentation of who you are.

There's some enterprise ones out there but you'd only get the full effect on games that have been compiled for use with the headset.

>Awful refresh rate
But it's higher than the S?
Besides, I like OLED blacks. I wasn't impressed with the Index in space games.

>implying that the jump from 72hz to 90hz doesn't outweigh every other single con
