there is something which I have noticed and which annoys me to no end. I want to clarify that no discussion of actual value happens on Zig Forums, it's a shithole and will always be a shithole. However, whenever someone posts something which dissents against the dominant narrative all these dumb idiots respond with your quote in green text and a basedjack face. What used to happen is that people would come up with "witty" one liners which "destroys" your post. You can still see the witty one liner in k because leftist mongrels don't own guns.
There's nothing wrong with basedjack posting, but that behaviour is just "turn off your brain and look for a funny image saved on your computer." And furthermore, this is an infection. More people are doing it as time goes on. All memes have a life cycle, but what you have to remember is that the memes a website uses is reflective of their users. And what has happened to many boards on that website is that they have been gradually taken over by fanatics who want nothing critically funny.
And yet this is still the best social media site. What will we do when Zig Forums is closed down? Where will we go?
