New composers for Doom Eternal Dlc
>>unironically better than mick
that's not hard
Imagine the butthurt once asslickers find out.
>retards thinking it was going to be difficult for Bethesda to find someone else to make generic metal music
kewl
Eternal had the most generic noise I dont remember a single song. While I remember every damn song of Doom 1 and 2.
This is an eternal thread user.
The original games thread is two blocks down.
>COOM ETERNAL
if you say so
How did Mick fuck up Eternals OST anyways.
Mick did some good OST but Chad raped the soundtrack and mixed it in all the wrong spots.
I was honestly never worried. The Eternal soundtrack was, in my opinion, weaker than the 2016 soundtrack I don’t have a strong association with the music in Eternal, even though I think it’s overall the better game.
Mick was bad. Why does he think chainsaws and slamming car doors should be in a doom soundtrack?
He didn't, you can find his original versions, they were butchered without his say and that's why he got mad.
Both nu DOOMs have a shit ost, everything sounds like generic metal or just noise
Which is a shame since the killer instict ost that was also made by Mick was a 10/10
Making BRAAP BROOP music isn't that hard if you know your way around compressors and shit. There's barely any chords or melodies to compose, it's just noise and rhythm.
TL;DR he couldn't deliver the mixed tracks on time for the deadline, so an audio guy at id made quick versions using the in-game files to pick up the slack, which Mick agreed to. Not ideal but they promised the OST in the collector's edition and delaying its release could have gotten their asses sued in certain regions. Mick would still be working with id if he hadn't needlessly thrown them under the bus, even if he wasn't planning on working with them again he's not doing himself any favours by lashing out on social media, I know I'd hesitate to hire a guy like that if they spoke about previous employers in that way.
he took too long to work
As long as it stays metal like this I don’t care.
But yeah, this is better.
>Given a deadline for the mixed tracks
>Agrees
>Asks to extend the deadline so he can perfect it
>Bethesda: "Sure but this is the last time buddy"
>Asked for extension again anyway
>Bethesda: "Look pal, that's twice, we need this shit done so if you can't do it, we will hire someone who will"
>Mick goes on twitter rant
>Gets fired
>replaced by tacos
Writing some djenty breakdowns isn't rocket science. More atmospheric/ambient stuff is where Hulshult truly exceeds.

I hope we'll get something like that in DLC in moments of downtime between arenas.
hopefully the mick asslickers and the video game soundtrack listening autists all mass suicide when they realize mick's soundtrack was shit compared to real music
I mean, it is Andrew. His music is great. I think Mick's music is also good though. Has a certain style and doesn't get old too easily.
mfw we will never have both Andrew and Mick compose together for a god tier soundtrack
>more generic = better
Zig Forums discussing music is always fun
