Can agree. At first I thought the driving in this game sucked. Then I hit asphalt and started really tuning my car. That shit is a wrecking ball. Open world games need good traversal mechanics, and man does the driving in this game feel good.

>Dude cars
>Dude Desert
Doesn't take much

it has godawful batman combat with shitty fetch quests and an empty open world filled with collectibles, worthless game and i
d rather they make the open world as small as possible to fill it up with shit to do and make the combat be actually engaging

>I want less driving in my driving game

>he wants the open world to actually be interesting and not be a giant wasteland with 0 reasons to explore other than to 100% every repetitive collectible

It's one of my favorite open world games still, the allure of vrooming across the desert still gets to me.

>he doesn't vroom

>the more you upgrade Max's personal gear, the shittier he looks

I really hated this, but you can choose to wear whatever cosmetic you want and keep all stat upgrades, so its fine.

>not playing shirtless

The problem is that while the driving and car combat was awesome, the rest was bland and boring.

this game unironically needs a next gen remaster

too bad they tied some challenges to their shitty servers which are now offline. Guess I'll never touch this piece of shit

you dont need to 100% games to enjoy them. if anything the focus on 100%ing shit stops you from enjoying games

how does rage 2 compare?

The game was surprisingly good but I do agree that there should have been more places to explore. They've set a really nice mood and I liked picking up photos from another time and hearing the MC comment on them so it's a shame they haven't added more mechanics and in general content to make it less repetitive.

absolute garbage. not comparable at all. what should've been everything mad max is and more, is instead less, less, less. unlikeable characters and world, unlikeable designs in general, nothing feels as good

Rage 2 is Doom Eternal Lite. Really good.

>why isn’t the wasteland filled with shit

>Rage 2 is Doom Eternal Lite.

it's not *remotely comparable in any way*

HURRY UP AND FIX THE CAA

>played it twice on PC
>played it twice on PS4 just to plat it
Yep I love this damn game, wish we would have gotten dlc or a sequel or something

It feels like Avalanche fell hard after Mad Max. Not sure if it's the fact they're spreading themselves thin between three different games, they were just lucky with their previous games, they got quickly outpaced design wise by other games and/or the talent just left.
Just Cause 4 sucked. Generation Zero wasn't that good. Rage 2 was held up largely by id's combat design.

Days Gone is the same with its motorbike controls. The real sense of weight is a pretty great feeling.

No it doesn't. A 4K + HDR patch would be fine. The game looks and runs great otherwise. Maybe they will patch it in for PS5 support.

same studio didnt make just cause 4

Your butt needs a remaster.

the game is asking for the ps5 controller haptic shit more than just about any game you can think of

Commit unalive.
