Nah. Aesthetically and tonally they're clearly different, and I'd go as far as to say that 2077 hasn't shown off anything regarding its themes or society that makes it feel distinctly cyberpunk as a setting beyond a superficial level.

One of the things that pissed me off with the official GITS pvp shooter is that it's so uninspired. You could have wall climbing, locational damage/dismemberment, all sorts of different gadgets and freedom of movement but instead we got a weird blend of CSGO and standard shooters. I want to feel like I'm a high-tech cyborg not just look like one.
