I got this guy in like the first free rolls, if he keeps destroying everything in the late game I might I might keep playing.

I have put in literally $0 into this game and now I play it just like I play sto log on for ~30-45 minutes then I'm done for the day

I just tried speedrunning a new account to adv lvl 7 and I rolled Venti.
Just thought I'd share.

Fischl is apparently going to become available as a free to play character obtained through the story in some manner, according to a leaked preview of the next two updates that are supposed to be live before the end of the year. If this is accurate, I hope they eventually release all of the characters as free to play obtainable by just playing the game. You still need to roll duplicates to unlock their special abilities so it will still be largely bait for whales. That or keep the greedy character gacha rates and make constellations available to be unlocked via normal gameplay.

To everyone playing Genshin Impact, the male traveler as well as males in general have superior movement speed and stamina usage. Chicks only beat them at swimming. Just saying.

By the time they release all seven regions, it would be a game worth paying full price for if they removed the gacha and handed out players over the course of the story. It's basically a great open world action rpg trapped in an always online lootbox dungeon. A real tragedy considering how it is pretty much the first proper game that is also a gacha game as opposed to a gacha game with a poor excuse for gameplay slapped onto it as a second thought.

Pretty much every interaction you have with the world is checked by a server and if your connection drops, you can't do anything. I'd imagine there is a hell of a lot involved in the back end and not something that can really be cracked or spoofed, as you put it.

I hope they keep adding different element collectathons for extra stamina and xp for each new area. There are a generous amount of fast travel points to partially make up for the shit stamina pool but by late game I really want to be able to freely move around the world. Stamina makes sense in combat and to pad out gameplay in a cheap way but so far I'm actually enjoying the word map and would play it more without this shit stamina restriction.
Maybe keep it for gliding, combat and climbing. It's not like there is a way to spend money to increase the player stamina pool so I don't really understand why miHoYo have been so stingy with it.

Not unless you have some sort of privileged access to the server that has your account ID and details, I guess.

Diluc is the only fire element character at the moment that isn't hampered by shitty elemental abilities.
