only retards complain about Mr X
Well, as a person who's not garbage at horror games, my only complaint is that it's rather difficult to scout and search areas with X on your tail - after a while he's just annoying and not scary at all.
I think many new players didn't realize (at first, neither did I) you can actually outrun him and lose him in the other wing, so you can freely explore the other.
So, does he die in Claire's run when Birkin guts him? Cause Leon still needs his final boss. Sometimes, the two runs being intertwined don't make much sense. Was it also this way in the original RE2?
shut up . im going to shoot you now.
>not garbage
Fuck, meant to say I'm garbage at horror games.
tyrant is ordinary foe and there is many of them in original. but they only appears in the 2nd scenario
Horror isn't comfy, retard.
Lol he brought the game from a 9/10 to an 11/10. Great game, great concept, executed about as good as you can hope for in 2019.
>Sometimes, the two runs being intertwined don't make much sense.
You're supposed to think, "It's just a game bro"
So they're intertwined, but only kind of, and you're supposed to use your imagination to fill in the gaps or explain contradictions as to which parts are canon and which parts didn't happen.
>personnel
>This retard again
Horror games are supposed to have threats.
Yeah, X might have as well regenerated and kept chasing Leon, while Birkin dind't bother to check for his pulse.
>Enter STARS office
>Enter any of the 3 safe rooms available in RPD
>Never have to worry about zombies or lickers getting in the way because the game gives you a ridiculous amount of ammo to kill them even on HC
What now faggot?
What Mr X adds to the game is god-like tension in your first playthrough. Every playthrough after that, he becomes a mere annoyance. There should be a toggle option in subsequent playthroughs to only have him appear during scripted events and disappear after you lose him.
>the game gives you a ridiculous amount of ammo
I've seen this a couple of times but I guess it refers more to experienced players. I remember a particular moment during Leon A when I didn't have a lot of ammo and I definitely didn't try to kill every zombie. It was somewhere during the underground garage.
Who cares about Leon seriously? RE2R is definitely Claire's story
Mr. X, like many other stalker enemies, just becomes annoying and not scary after a while.
lel. nice reference OP I saw that thread too
Let me guess, you're using controller to play?
The only time I found myself struggling for ammo was at the very start of the game. Once you get the shotgun as Leon it's pretty much smooth sailing the rest of the game. 9 times out of 10 you'll be killing zombies in one shot, lickers might take 3 if you're unlucky but they can be easily cheesed through doors since they can't follow you. Claire A is probably the worst in regards to ammo, the handgun she starts with is dogshit and the flame rounds are better saved for Birkin than wasted on zombies.
No, m+kb.
It was just this particular moment, after that I've had so much ammo I could probably kill everything and still have some left. In comparison to Leon A, Claire B was such a cakewalk. Never played Claire A, so can't comment on that.
But he stole your weapon and uses it against you.
Stalker enemies are fun, they’re only annoying to retards that have a hard time dealing with them.
>comfy
>horror game
I think I did Leon A/Claire B? Not really sure what these things refer to actually but I don't think I ever saw Sherry Birkin?
I unzip my infinite rocketlauncher and say heh, nothing personnel mr. tyrantman
the game has a shitty "dynamic difficulty" mechanic where it spawns you ammo based on your own ammo shooting habits. If you're constantly shooting and wasting ammo, the game thinks you're retarded and spawns you ammo everywhere so you don't run out. If you play ultra-conservative with ammo, it barely spawns you any to make it harder
Based
I think Sherry appears in both Claire A/B. Maybe you started but didn't finish her scenario.
>during the underground garage
that happened to me as well, i remember only have a single digit handgun ammo at the time. i think it's normal since it was after g1 birkin
she appears in both claire section
Something the matter retard? Comfy horror; a horror game you can just sit back and enjoy on a cold October night covered in a nice blanket with a couple of warm pizzas and a chilled beer. Games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Evil Within and Dead Space come to mind.
Bullshit; I must of played through the game at least 50 times and the shotgun shells/gunpowder pots never changed locations or disappeared on future runs. How does it spawn you ammo when enemies don't drop shit?
They should have limited him to route b like in the original game. Maybe keep the helicopter reveal and the initial chase, but don't make him come back.
How? I played through one time and that was it. I've never been able to do multiple playthroughs of RE games, even with the option to choose protagonists. Nothing really changes and you're doing the exact same actions
Bros.. I can't stop cooming to pictures of Leon taking it from Mr X
I think someone's trying to push horror games as "comfy" as a meme. Next time you see this, you'll know I'm right and rightfully call the OP out.
