Killing Floor has some pretty neat lore as to why you are not fighting zombies. As well using projectile physics instead of hitscan ballistics.

I also appreciate that it's a zombie wave game where the enemies are actually somewhat varied and require a slight amount of effort and strategy. Dicking around with different builds and weird weapons is rewarding because of how risky it can be.
Oh and don't play on Normal difficulty unless you are a limbless baby.

Mutant Zombies are really the only interpretation of the creature that are still interesting, if only for the fact that you don’t know how their forms will shift and change

The cross-species splicing concept is extremely under-utilized.

The spider-lad enemies alone keep the waves fresh by forcing you to aim somewhere besides head level for effective damage.
They add a new boss fight to the RNG every year which is why I still play it.

Eldritch is a pretty good roguelike based around various Lovecraft mythos.
There's a lot to discover and the focus on resource management and stealth almost makes it a horror game.

Rodger Ramrod is a X-rated FPS adventure with cartoon animation's hidden in the worlds. You are Rodger and must battle your way through the S&M level. While attempting to satisfy the queen. Rodger is laughed at and humiliated by her until he finds the hidden objects that promise to show her Majesty a royally good time. Our hero's weapons are masturbation, urination, and flatulation. Once he proves himself worthy, he finds himself in the FAG level, where he is constantly covering his ass!
The game includes ten climatic levels: (S&M), (FAG), (FAT), (PRINCES), (DYKE), (HOLLYWOOD), (BIKER), (HILLBILLY), (COWBOY), AND (SPACE) levels.
