whos hyped for the upcoming update?
will you be coming back to the game?
Sekiro update
update for what, i already beat the game multiple times
whats there to come back to?
official boss rush mode, new costumes, memories to show off effective kills and platforming
personally ive been waiting on the update to start my ng+6 cycle
If it goes on sale right after the update I'll buy it and play it until I get tired of it.
Fuck yeah. Wish it was a full proper DLC instead of some random crap but I'll take it.
seems kinda out of the blue doesnt it?
did miyazaki just get bored of working on ER?
>boss rush
shouldve been in at launch
>costumes
pointless
>platforming
was shit in the base game
no reason to reinstall by the sounds of it.
>>boss rush
>shouldve been in at launch
But it wasn't. How is that a reason to not play it now?
>>costumes
>pointless
Agree to disagree, I guess.
>>platforming
>was shit in the base game
That's not the take-away. The point is the ability to share your experience with other player.
>no reason to reinstall by the sounds of it.
Your loss.
I got a bottle of Japanese whiskey I'm waiting to open just for the DLC.
I have a feeling ER won't be as good as Sekiro, so that's fine with me.
meh. sekiro was already a complete experience. he should try make something set during the 4th crusade/ottoman era.
is japanese whiskey any good?
not that guy but yes, some of the best
I'm definitely hoping Miyazaki makes more games with real historical settings. I think it's one of the stronger qualities of Sekiro, it makes the story much more 'human' and relatable compared to Dark Souls.
Maybe, I got to the really pretty palace area with that large lake and dropped the game for something else. I wasnt not having fun or anything, just got distracted with some other release. If I do I'll definitely just start over. I'm trying to decide to I should ring that hard mode bell again like I did the first time.
>seems kinda out of the blue doesnt it?
Could be they saw Jedi: Fallen Order pulling the same sort of deal and decided it might be a good idea since it's not a huge effort but ends up with a lot of goodwill.
the story of sekiro is complete fucking ass, easily the wlorst aspect
yeah. DS has good gameplay but way too abstract to give any feeling. 13-16th centuries are comfy as fuck because of the transition from mystic/medieval to new technologies.
Any word on if you can re-fight bosses you've only beaten in a previous game cycle? I want to be able to fight Emma and Isshin Ashina without having to cut my game short with the Shura ending or move save files around.
You can get to the bell via a shortcut as soon as you have access to Ashina Outskirts, fwiw. But Charmless (only available after beating the game once) is the true hard mode because it adds chip damage on regular blocks.
Obviously, I disagree. What don't you like about it?
No, unfortunately. Considering it seems to be based on the "memories" Wolf has, you'll probably have to have beaten them at least once before, so that you'll have their corresponding memory, but I'm just speculating.
if you mean specific plot, who knows...
but sekiro is one of the few games i've played that captures the ""zeitgeist" of a historical setting. unlike post-modern AC shit or even Kingdom Come which is far too autistic.
Is there anything you get for playing it on the "hard" mode you can set it on the first run? If not I'll probably just skip it.
meant for
I haven't had a lot, but what I've had is not my favorite, but good. It's very smooth, which seems to be the priority for Japanese whiskey rather than intense or complex flavor. I prefer something more intense but I keep a bottle of Toki around.
Just a sense of accomplishment. Charmless gives you more XP for every kill so you can unlock the whole skill tree faster. The Bell just increases drop rate.
ive beaten it like 5 time in a craked version, would buy it in steam if the prize would get down from 40 bucks in some fucking ocasion
WHY IS THIS GAME SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE
Because it's fucking good.
When is the update exactly coming out? I heard it was at the end of October.
28th
So what's the best titty ninja mod?
Elden Ring is in the middle of development hell. Dark Souls 2 and 3 were a botched mess of cut content and sloppy ideas all slapped together in the last three months of development to try and make a coherent game. Expect ER to be the same.
