No, in fact, I would argue that too many games are multiplayer focused shooters and I miss when we would get cohesive worlds with an immersive internal logic and "tip of the iceberg" feeling games like Dead Space and Half Life 2 had. The problem is the AAA industry lacks the chops to make good shit anymore and most of the writers in it right now (such as neil druckmann) are narcissists, which is a problem.

Story in games is actually the player’s progression in plot and systems through the gameplay. So TLoU2 has a very limited and weak story because not much happens and progresses in the gameplay when compared to its focus on theatrical elements. You’re always doing the same thing, followed by walking sequences and then cutscenes
