Gacha are free to play and are perfectly playble if you never spend a dime.
Lootboxes are often directly pay to win and this especially rang true for star wars battlefront 2. That and you also have to pay $60(and soon $70) just to fucking play the game and maybe spend like $30-$40 for a dlc if you want to keep playing or risk being left in the dust.
