Gamepass doesn't have a giant library. It's pathetically small actually, they keep to around 50-100 games at a time max, and it's all indie shovelware or games from 5+ years ago everyone already owns or played. They remove games constantly, it's the norm for games to only be on there for a month or two at a time before getting taken off because MS isn't making any money from it and can't afford to keep the licenses. Gamepass is a scam and an irrelevant failure.

It provides your average casual player the ability to play through games at their leisure, primarily for people who rotate through singleplayer games or otherwise do not care about high replayability. There is nothing wrong with that, as the opposite side of the spectrum: people who may focus in on a smaller amount of games and only play those for a very long period of time continue to have the option to do so. It does nothing more than provide people with more options, and no one with a brain thinks otherwise.
