It's impossible to talk about tile matching games on Zig Forums. Their style just doesn't match the boards tastes and there's nowhere near enough meat to the stories to carry a thread.

Yes, but thats small and you can ignore it quite easily. Imagine if it was like the fanbase for Boku no Moeshit macadamia or Steven Universe, thats the audience that will gobble up puyo without a second thought and become massive secondaries
This, they dont even play the game because puyo's in a state where it can create secondaries without even trying. Cutesy girls and redditor meme plotlines with gameplay that'll filter them from actually playing the game.

How do I get good at Puyo? I played PPT because I like Tetris and the Puyo characters seem really cute and all so I wanna get into it, but holy shit my brain is too small to rapidly set up big boy chains.

the first puyo form i learned is GTR, id put up a picture of GTR on my screen and try to recreate it the best i can till i got it right. learn GTR and stairs. then learn how to build healthy 2nd rows. heres ideally how you should imagine building a 2nd row
