maybe I'm too optimistic, but I don't see how the sequel could be worse, considering the base is so extremely strong. all I can see going wrong is feature creep, adding too many systems and bloat

I don't know, but it's not uncommon for a game to have unnecessary or out of place features, like cooking or crafting for example might make zero sense but still be in the game and it would detract from the feeling of the original, unless not done very well of course
