Why don't zoomers know how to torrent games anymore?
I'm an English teacher and I told them as extra credit for the class, I told them to play Dishonored or Deus Ex Human Revolution and to make a sort of book report on it; And that if you can't purchase the game, either just torrent it or watch a full game walkthrough. I was surprised to hear how many of these 14-15 year old kids not knowing what a torrent is, and if they have any sort of inkling of knowledge behind it, they think they're going to prison if they pirate shit. So I told them to just watch a Longplay on it on youtube instead if you don't feel comfortable.
Idk, when I was their age, I was learning how to jailbreak my PSP and installing every type of emulator on it. I thought that zoomers were so supposed to be tech wizards?
>teacher who posts on Zig Forums you stare at their 14yo tiddies don't you
Levi Foster
Why is s4s so self contained usually
Colton Barnes
I have to say that jail breaking a PSP is a lot easier than dodging viruses, at least for little shits. I even put the cheat engine on my PSP dude.

Zoomers don't know a lot of things, like lurking for months before posting or hiding your power level in non-political spaces instead of flaunting it everywhere because muh epic culture war. I wouldn't expect them to know how to download ublock let alone know how to torrent.
Blake Hernandez
most of the documentation on torrenting is not really up to date or trustworthy. one part of me wants to torrent, i even downloaded utorrent but i wasn' sure where to start. or who to trust
I saved so much time on book reports by torrenting the movie adaptation (and looking up a list of differences between the two) instead of reading the books. Smart kids would skim a let's play instead of playing the games you're recommending, especially since they'd be busy with other homework or clubs / sports.

I got kicked out of the Literature program of my university and then shifted to English Education. The work is easy and the pay is alright. Can't complain much.
How the fuck do you get kicked out of a Iiterature program?
Wyatt Fisher
>teacher actively telling kids to pirate video games I mean I don't give a single solitary fuck myself and I'm not even gonna have that argument about piracy being theft since that's what it is in the eyes of a bunch of soccer moms that will find out what you told their kids to do, but that just seems like it's begging for you to get fired dude
James Clark
Turns out you can "self-plagiarize" your works, because I've been submitting the same poems and short stories (though slightly edited each time adjusted to the requirements needed by the course). This went on for a year and a half until they found out, then booted me out of the program.
Carson Scott
That's total bullshit.
Connor Torres
How the fuck did you not know self-plaigarism is a thing? I'm a college dropout and even I knew that shit.
Tyler Watson
Don't use uTorrent, to start. Use Deluge, qBittorrent, Tixati or literally anything else.
Landon Torres
Technology is so easy now that zoomers don't look for anything past what is spoonfed to them on the App Store.
Brayden Roberts
I was 19, lazy and I thought my course was a joke. I just wanted to submit shit and play videogames when I get back home.
Ryan Rogers
>I thought that zoomers were so supposed to be tech wizards? Zoomers are even dumber than boomers because they grew up with walled garden, locked down mobile OS shit
Asher Lewis
A generation raised on apple are the opposite of tech savvy.

I did some volunteer tutor work at a library where teenagers from a local school would come to use the computers since the school didnt have a computer lab Zoomers don't know anything about technology except how to access social media, unironically.
When I finished doing the bs volunteer work, i'd sit and help anyone who needed help with their computer class assignments to make the day go faster, and it genuinely surprised me how little they knew.
I eventually gave up telling them shortcuts on how to do stuff since it'd just lead to more confusion. Even something as simple as copy and paste would take 5 minutes each since pressing two keys at once without being shown first is such a huge hurdle for some fucking reason.
I don't know how teachers just sit and repeat themselves without pulling their hair out.
Nicholas Powell
They merely adopted the internetz
Elijah Kelly
This explains a lot.
Camden Barnes
less and less kids have computers now, its just phones which are super dumbed down in comparison
Nicholas Ross
>teacher >job is teaching >tell people to do something how? >DUDE WTF R U ASKNIG ME FOR JUST FIGURE IT OUT URSELF LOL NERD You're obviously LARPing, but I would've reported you for encouraging crime.
Jonathan Clark
Based millennialchud
Evan Perry
>DUDE WTF R U ASKNIG ME FOR JUST FIGURE IT OUT URSELF LOL NERD
When the fuck did I ever say that? I told them if they didn't want to pirate shit, just a watch a video on youtube instead.
Liam Harris
English and Music teachers have that 'I stopped giving a shit years ago' look. Poor bastards.
>Gen Z are okay with being called zoomers >Gen X are okay with being called X'ers >Millennials try to get themselves called boomers What the fuck happened
