Can someone give me a rundown on what we know about this game so far? Will it have an adventure mode like the other Hyrule Warriors? Does everyone still have two weapons? Is shit like hasty attacks still in that clearly makes one weapon superior to others that you have to grind a shit ton for it?

We don't know if there's a separate Adventure mode like in HW1, but it appears the story mode might be combined with adventure mode. You get a map of Hyrule(pretty much the same one from BotW although changed to 100 years ago) and select missions and sidequests from it.

Link at the very least has more than one weapon but we don't know about anyone else.

Rookie numbers

I'll still buy it on release since I fucking loved the original, but this is a tad disappointing to read. I only know what I've seen from threads online, but aren't the Warrior's spin-offs incredibly high quality for some reason? I remember reading that Hyrule Warriors was quite possibly one of the most polished Warriors games out there, and the Persona 5 Strikers spin-off was apparently amazing too. Can anyone attest to this with experience?

I mean Age of Calamity looks pretty good to me so far and since It's apparently Nintendo's holiday game they must have some confidence in it

I wouldn't be shocked if it ends up being Koei's most successful game period.

The visuals of the game looks much better and sharper than BotW, I hope Nintendo keeps it this way for the sequel.

Will unit deployment have a purpose beyond my other units being stuck on outposts instead of going where I want them to go or going to where I want them to go where they sit like a retard until I take control of them?
Because them actually doing shit was the thing I liked the most about FEW.

Attached: Owain Warriors.jpg (800x800, 89.34K)

and that's exactly why it'll be left behind, because it was an FEW thing, not a HW thing. I don't like it, but that's the way it's going to be probably.

user they carried so much from FEW to HWDE that wasn't in original HW

Yes hyrule warriors was already one of their most successful games. Botw is the best selling zelda game of all time. It's a no brainer.

ah, did they? I never picked up HWDE so I wouldn't have known. if they did carry stuff over then we'll probably get it in AoC too.

no,the reason of why the first game was a success it was because it had an original story and multiple characters from all the franchise, this one is tied to one story that we already know how it ends and characters from it

it's like if you had fate on FEW even when they really fucked up with that one

Some things. You could tell the mechanics were for FEW.

Damn bro nice your botw time rivals mine. I could never get that into HW though maybe 100 hours max.

But what if...

i pre-ordered the second they were available, and i never pre-order anything

I wonder if they’re going to use any of the assets from this game in BOTW2. I mean they rebuilt places like Lon Lon ranch and Akkala.

>age of calamity
A shameless cash grab that sois will worship for years to come.

Except all that shit was already in the 3ds version of HW. The only new thing that DE added was the ability to buy the adventure map items after you found one instead of rerunning the map over and over for it.

I really hope most of Hyrule is at least partially rebuilt in Botw2 especially Castle town. I think that's really what would make exploring the same map again worth it

it's nintendo of course they're gonna reuse assets

Straight downgrade

user they were clearly beta testing the FEW mechanics.

No
Genshin has made botw look like a baby toy
If I was botw devs or the age of calamshitty I’d kill myself
Image all your work thrown down the gutter beaten by a Chinese powerhouse with development they can’t compete against
Genshin is fucking amazing

Why are you comparing open world gacha game to a musou?
You're not retarded, are you?

>Genshin has made botw look like a baby toy
BOTW does that all by itself.

There was that segment where the AI didn't move in TGS's Daruk gameplay, where you had to capture 3 separate keeps,

but otherwise they follow along nicely toward the next objective like in Treehouse Live's Urbosa gameplay. I guess they weren't given orders, but it doesn't seem like there were outposts to worry about.
