Zig Forums consists of smart people pretending to be retards, and a smattering of actual losers. In threads where the topic of work comes up, a shocking amount of people are in some form of engineering or advanced tech field. You've got places like /vrg/ over on /vg/ where half of them are expert 3D modelers, /g/ where plenty of the users have custom-built PCs or high level programming skills even with more obscure languages, /ck/'s actually excellent cooks behind all the McDonalds shitposting, the surprisingly diverse libraries of /lit/ and Zig Forums, and of course /his/ which needs no explanation. Also 95% of the non-American/English userbase is at minimum bilingual which is respectable in and of itself, and plenty of weebs on /jp/ are fluent in Japanese to the point of being able to teach others.
The only genuinely stupid boards are Zig Forums, Zig Forums, /soc/, and Zig Forums, and I only say Zig Forums because they fall for fad diets and gimmicks far too easily.
