Why aren't you playing Nintendo games? They have actual gameplay.
Why aren't you playing Nintendo games? They have actual gameplay
This is true and it's still bait.
I'd rather replay System Shock 2.
>Nintendo games
nintendo doesn't produce games, they make toys. There is as much gamplay in botw as in lego.
I tried my best to enjoy OoT, Majora’s mask and mario 64 but I got bored very quickly. Nintendo games just aren’t for me.
go back to your trans sex simulators, snoy. Nobody cares abour your movies or opinions
Maybe try something that's not an early 3D game.
So you need quick action pew pew games like cod and fortnite otherwise your adhd will kick in and you get bored
yeah, bad gameplay
What are some games with good gameplay in your opinion?
To me at least, it feels like BOTW isn't about the gameplay. If it was, there would be some sort of a wall that prevents you from spamming flurry rushes everywhere. BOTW is more about atmosphere and exploration, so it's more about the feel of the game, rather than what you would normally think of gameplay, such as puzzles and combat.
Idk why you didn't put any other Nintendo game here though. Mario has far more focus on gameplay instead of visuals. Either way, indie games are the place for gameplay most of the time.
Exploration is gameplay too
>needing game to be game
enjoy your ps5
Yes, but exploration in BOTW is about seeing cool structures, rather than trying to find a way to get somewhere, which ties more into visuals than gameplay.
I think I'll stick to replaying Sonic Adventure for now. After replaying 64 and Galaxy recently, I realized I actually like it better than either of those games, surprisingly.
Probably partly since while Nintendo's stuff is historically good, generally Nintendo's games aren't deliberately oriented to scratch the score/time attack itch I like my platformers to scratch.
That said, I highly recommend Odyssey for anyone here who hasn't played it though. That game's movement has a sense of flow seldom seen in AAA games recently.
No it wasn't about the visuals for me. I always saw an interesting place far away so I walked to it and encountered many different things along the way. Exploration is definitely the core gameplay in botw
Hmm, for me, if I saw something, I simply went there. Sure, I saw some thing that was kinda cool, but it was underwhelming almost all the time. Even when I finally reached a location, it was not that interesting. For example, the desert structures. When I saw the big maze, I was like "oh damn that looks sick", but when I easily reached it by just gliding, I realized it's a really easy place with some boring rewards as usual. The only fun part of the exploration was seeing the big thing from afar and it was all downhill from there.
Also, BOTW does have a lot of kinda interesting places, but it has almost no interesting rewards. From my playthrough, every item and korok seed was boring after I got a few due to them either being useless or breaking anyway.
im not a child
>I need to play mature games for a mature gamer like me
All games are for children. You'll understand once you get out of puberty
my adult rated game says otherwise
Your underage brain doesn't quite understand yet that you are literally the target audience. You think cod is being played by adults? No it's 90% kids getting wet dreams because they think they're doing mature shit. You're part of that 90%
Yes and that's a good thing. Games are meant to be entertainment. They should be like digital toys.
hmm youre really trying to insinuate that im a child for some reason
i wonder why that is
ah yes... you play nintendo games
describe the game i must hear about the game
>To me at least, it feels like BOTW isn't about the gameplay.
it's a tragedy that botw's amazing mechanics get constantly ignored by megaspergs with zero creativity who check out if games aren't restrictive rollercoster rides
The best game of the decade
I agree that BOTW has some really interesting gameplay, but the problem is that there's no need to use it. Even in the clip, you can just go and keep bashing him and permastun him until he dies. If you cant permastun just flurry rush.
Imagine if dark souls had bosses no difficulty. Then there would be no reason to learn patterns or get stronger, you would just grab a new shiny weapon and slap him around, which is close to what BOTW does.
Your argument of "just be creative" doesn't work for a lot of people who don't really care. I'm glad there are such mechanics, but when you don't need to use them, they feel like overcomplicated and more difficult methods of fighting.
LITERALLY a downgraded Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
>They should be like digital toys
>muh creativity
Cope harder snoynigger. No one thinks you any less of a manchild just because you played The Tranny of us.
>I agree that toy blocks has some really interesting gameplay, but the problem is that there's no need to use it. You can just go and assemble them in boring way.
>They have actual gameplay.
lmao
you can't permastun gold bokoblins they have super armor
the technique used in the video is the fastest way to kill him (throwing him into the water to insta drown him) and requires using multiple techniques interacting with eachother (parry stun - crouch cancel- instant double bomb summon - bomb parry) as well as proper positioning
>autism
