Literally all they have to do to unequivocally win the generation harder than Sony won this one, is to buy Take-Two Interactive. GTAV is the most successful game of all time by far (Minecraft beats it if you go by sales numbers), sold 130mil. Imagine what an Xbox Series S/X bundle with GTAVI (not on PS5) (or double-bundle with GTAVI and TESVI) would sell. All the kids and normalfags would buy it.
Remember, Microsoft paid 100mil for GTAIV not to be PS3 exclusive.

i doubt this will happen. ubisoft is publicly traded and we'd know about a take over in advance. zenimax was a privately owned company hence why MS could keep the dealings hidden. also if MS really did want ubisoft the asking price would be like 10-5bn which isn't worth it for the garbage dump IP ubisoft own now. all their major IP have been run into the ground. this rumor might just be a deal between the two companies to have uplay+ on gamepass like how eaplay is on gamepass. xbox gamepass twitter has teased rainbow6 siege coming to gamepass just yesterday for example.
