there really isn't any point. it would be weaker than iron and iron is already easy as shit to get. if anything redstone is basically what copper should've been. it's fine to have ores that have separate functions other than tools and armor

just another half assed mechanic notch put in without planning what to do with it. it took 11 years to finally get some kind of function of gold and that's so pigman won't attack you

i like the idea of the new abandoned nether portals you can find. it's nice for the player to see the design and have a some obsidian already there to add to later. the problem is that they are way too common, i swear the are more abundant that villages. another major problem is that the chest can contain obsidian which the player can use to get to the nether while skipping diamond. the progression has always been that the player needs diamond to mine obsidian to then get to the nether

all you need is a bucket and a source of water and lava

that would probably mean they make world deeper by a certain amount of blocks, which should happen anyway but won't. the game already has a hard time to get the player using leather or gold stuff let alone ore

Why do you fags expect improvement from this game? Its meant for a constant roatation of 10-12 year olds. Once a kid turns 13 they grow out the game and another 10 year old gets into the game and its all new and fresh to them
