Nothing other than covid fucking up the initial release. They'e fixed a lot of the bugs already, and improved shit like some of the emptiness of the France levels. 7.5/10, better than BFE, would recommend.

still runs like ass to the point rtx 3090 users reported fps drops lower than 60. directx12 and vulkan is still broken

They probably should have released it under early access. It's still completely playable and feels like a complete serious sam game (way better than SS3) but all the bugs and graphical issues really hold it back. I'd still recommend it over SS3 though.

Buggy release. Gameplay is the best yet but it was very hard to enjoy it. It is getting patched now at least.
Croteam has a chance to really push this game with the PS5 and Xbox versions next year but they really need to work at it.

Just technical stuff, the game itself is great. Best FPS of the gen and honestly potential contender for best Sam as they continue cleaning up the technical issues.

go back and play TFE or TSE and then compare it to SS4. where are the crazy secrets? where are the random enemies spawning in horrible places? where is the insanely curated encounters? it's not a BAD game but the overall quality of gameplay is lower than previous games

It's like a completely different team made SS4 because Croteam is heavily known for optimization since the first fucking game. No other developer ever had a game with PC settings higher than 50 options

and maybe the dialogue. I hated everyone in the game except Sam, Rodriguez and Hellfire so I would leave those 2 in.

skill tree is fine just buff the melee tree more so it's a decent alternative
dialogue is great I don't know why people bash this game for it
cutscenes need work for sure
objectives are fine they just more of the level to play through and most give decent rewards like weapon alt fires
parkour secrets are aids you're right on that
don't know what you mean by this unless you're saying you can only dual wield two different guns
difficulty is fine
giant maps are fine
