what I do is I eat it dry and save the crumbs from a few packages, then I mix in dry noodles from the store and all the crumbs and powder and have a bowl of ramen after a few packs of dry

Food will give you about 15 minutes of enjoyment and 6 hours or so depending on what you eat of sustenance, meanwhile BOTW will give you at least 100 hours of enjoyment ,doing quests, solving intricate to brain blasting puzzles, finding and breaking cool weapons, fucking around with it's almost limitless possibilities and exploring and getting lots in it's world like a retarded child. Well, it's extremely hard to eat a month with just 60$ so instead of eating like shit for less then a month he could have a good game to take his mind off the hunger. Besides, how hard could be to eat at his parents/friends/steal some fruit from an open air market? I've done all of the above and I'm alive and well.
