No, I'm stating the fact that those would not be functional lips, they would be literal skin-flaps because that's not how lips and muscles work, much like how your butthole would cease to be a functional butthole if you fucking cut it in half.
Again, if they wanted to give her lips they could have just given her lips. The presence of lips is not the problem, the unnecessary and ugly redesign of her entire face that misses the point of the character is the problem.
