Its either Doom Guys memory of him being entombed before 2016, or corrupted Betrayer or Samuel in human form which was a rumor spread by one user in Eternal threads how Samuel will get corrupted by Dark Lord throu Demonic Crucible and seeing that Samuel doesnt have a body anymore per se and i alone stranded on Doom Fortress.. Few more hours and we will know.

Very unlikely, not quite enough for final boss and is shown too much in the trailer. It's probably just scaled down Khan Maykr fight right before him. You can see a door there that most likely leads into this dark room with 2 Seraphims and yellow energy beam. Him having not just one body at his disposal might play a certain part in the fight.

What was the theory? Where I can look it up? That might actually not be a theory. Never know if someone leaks actual plot as a "theory".

Looks cool, I like the diverse environments and the platforming seems a little more naturally integrated at least from the clips we see. I like the nautical/bog motif, and am curious what's gonna be up with beeg tentacle and the darkdoomguy.

Search the archives, he posted it few times. His theory was that Samuel will get corrupted through Demonic Crucible which is powering Doom Fortress, VEGA being absent, Doom Guy also, The Dark One would corrupt Samuel through Demonic Crucible, check the youtube for Kadingir Prophetic Tree.
