Play Kingdom Come
Play Kingdom Come
i did
This was one of the most enjoyable modern games I've ever played
(2 years late because I listened to this shitty website and reddit)
Hey guys it's Henry!
I loved it at launch but my PC couldn't run it
My PC can run it now but I don't have the time
I CAN'T KILL ANYONE
EVEN AFTER I TRAIN WITH THE ROYAL TRAINER
Unironically would have given anything for a game like this 20 years ago.
Now I just need fast games to give me that sweet dopamine to keep me going
Looks boring and janky in a bad way
The combat system is built for pure 1 on 1 encounters but you still find yourself in 1 vs 5 fights regularly.
I hope they fix this in the sequel, it's my biggest gripe.
GOD BLESS HENRY
Can't believe it was a fucking kickstarter game. There's more content and attention to detail in this game than shit from AAA publishers
I thought this was Oblivion for a second lol
>he can't into stealth
>he can't into run and gun
>he can't into realism
Train more
I wish I'd known his fight was coming. Instead of reloading an earlier save, I just sprinted around the arena until I had enough distance to shoot an arrow through his face.
Very anti-climactic
>he can't into realism
bruh every random peasant is using master strikes and perfect blocks
Fucking love this game will be playing through again on series X
I can literally kill everybody with a bow before they even reach me no matter if they are heavily armored or use a shield.
That does not make the crappy forced lock-on autotracking shit during melee enjoyable.
Mount and Blade devs did directional swings and blocks with zero lock-on, why can't these guys?
we all had similar experiences. not giving him a helmet made him die really easily
Not time to mention it has probably the best dialogue system of any game
>Henry Vs Group
Fuckhead AI is seemingly self aware and just sprints in circles around Henry, baffling the lock-on system and making Henry spin like a top while everyone else wails on you
>Henry Vs One Guy
Fucking sit there and wait for an attack to master strike, lest you be master struck yourself
Needs work for sure
jesus christ be praised.
Is EVERY Xbone game coming to series X? This game was already jank as fuck on console, I shudder to think what backwards compatibility might do to it
I fucking LOVED the skill and perk system in this game.
>pick up halberd
>play on godmode
cleared out the big cuman and bandit camp like the guys were made of paper
The lock on system needs some work
and the combat is best with low mouse sensitivity, that way you avoid doing a 360 and breaking the lockon.
if you pace the fight and walk in a way that forces the other people to be stuck behind your primary opponent while playing with low sensitivity, its fine.
I didnt mind 1v5 being lopsided because they should be. we were running into bandit and military squads, they wouldnt be alone. But with a few laps, fighting from a horse against multiple people was doable even at the first moment you leave skallitz. With the right bow and arrows, ranged combat was op. Plate Armor vs NonPlat armor, plate always wins. Combat kinda functioned as id expect in the real world.
>bang my head against the combat for the first several hours
>enjoy the other non-combat parts of the game enough to keep at it
>am told about master strikes and how to learn them after failing several times to kill Runt in that huge battle
>go back and learn it
>slaughter my way through the game with no survivors
In spite of that, I'm having a goddamn blast I really can't put it down. If I ever do another playthrough, I'm thinking of playing a two faced sneak thief of sorts. Talk sweetly to people's faces, espousing the unquestioned virtues of Christ at every chance while robbing them blind without a second thought
Nah, looks awful.
Game was fucking great, now that theyre making a sequel all I really want is for the world to feel more lively like RDR2 and have the sword fighting have more weight and feeling of impact.
Back compat on the series x will fucking save this game. It runs like shit even on the one x but that's where I played and beat it. Looking forward to another run through.
I did, it was shit. Slow paced, awful combat, MUH REALISM, awful dialogue, boring fetch quest after fetch quest.
Hard pass
Should I buy the dlc? Are they good?
