Smash Bros. fans: At what point did you realise the entire Smash community is comprised largely of cringe?

I used to like this community, yet only recently have I realised that it's actually pretty lame (no, it's nothing to do with that thing).
That's the autistic part of the community desu, focus on the actual good part; The casuals

The problem is who they let get in and start gatekeeping. Remember the scene was not taken seriously at all, so all the would-be sensible players didn't bother getting involved. That means the inmates basically ran the asylum.

mango and zain are currently the best performing players, followed by ibdw
both ibdw and zain are newcomers on the rise and i think they're pretty chill
same for axe, or sfat, or amsa or most of the other current pros, i think they're pretty unique and that the comunity maintains a kind of grassroots attitude
tho i will agree, sm4sh/ultimate comunity is cringe af lmao
