As a composer, like, professionally. That REALLY doesn't matter. All you need is one good take. That's the beauty of the recording studio. I can barely play guitar, but I like to occasionally throw some live stuff like itcompared to a VST. It might be edited, and modified in post production, but it adds a sense of 'liveliness' compared to just entering midi data.
