If anyone is curious about the actual headset, I have been enjoying mine. A lot less wires and setup, takes 5 seconds to get into VR. Been using a lot of virtual desktop to use steamVR, the quest 2 can run games natively but they lack a lot of detail. Alyx runs flawlessly.

Firstly its 350 euro + 50 euro for fucking strap.
400 euro is more then minimal wage in pol*nd so yeah, it's not that cheap.

and if you want to use it for PC VR, it's +$70 for Link cable or $100 for a new router

I bought a $20 16ft cable on Amazon that works just fine, no drops or pixelization. For Virtual Desktop I'm just using my regular cable wifi modem with decent results. It's really all about tweaking the Oculus/Steam VR/VD settings, if you use it straight out of the box you're not getting full resolution or optimal bitrates.

I've got a Rift S, and after I finshed Alyx, literally the only reason I've turned it on is to occasionally fuck around with VAM.
