I'm replaying it and holy shit the texture of the doors at the rooms you stay are extremely low quality. You can tell this game was made with a higher quality in mind and then downscaled.
I don't think the better version is gonna be PS5 exclusive at all (the exclusivity is over), I'll get it wherever it launches.

those textures are clearly not downscaled dude. They simply aren't there.

Well that's what happens when they have to keep reducing load to make the game run well, so there's probably a high resolution door texture somewhere.

If XV is anything to go by you'll need a monster PC to run it that high and I bet any money even the highest GPU will struggle at 4k 60

At that point you'll be better off with the PC version.

The actual update lists this:
- Fixed some issues where the player could get stuck.
- Fixed some issues with BGM and audio.
- Fixed other minor issues.

6 months... I was at least expecting textures to be fixed
